What are Busblinds made of?

Each busblind is carefully designed on computer and printed on canvas using fade resistant ink. The wooden frame is custom made to the desired size with solid pine sides and a plywood face. The canvas is glued to the frame, the edges are painted and the whole thing in varnished for extra protection.

How much do they cost?

There are a wide range of standard busblind options that range in price from around $190 to $400. This includes the design work and manufacture. Delivery costs are extra.

There are also a lot of optional extras for the alternate shapes, styles and finishes. These are all priced accordingly.

How long do they take to make?

The design of your busblind can take as little as a few hours to however long it takes to send proofs, make changes and send new proofs. Once approved the printing and manufacture normally takes between 2 and 4 days. We allow a few days for the glue, paint and varnish to harden and then we ship to you. So, overall, allow at least 7 days (but it could be a little longer.)

How do you place your order?

Complete our order form and start a conversation. We will then email between each other to confirm costs, design, production and delivery. We try and respond to all emails as soon as possible.

How do I clean my busblind?

The busblind has two coats of varnish on the outside so it can be wiped down with a clean damp cloth to clean it as needed.

How to I hang or display my busblind?

Every busblind comes with a built in hanging bar for easy wall hanging with a single nail (or small picture hook.) Alternatively, the busblind has a 45mm deep solid frame that does allow you to stand it on a shelf, ledge or counter etc. (This is best for the smaller busblind sizes).

Can I get additional copies of my busblind?

Yes you can. We keep all busblind designs on file and can be reprinted at any time. Contact us and we can help you with more copies of a loved busblind.

Do they have to be black and white?

No, your busblind can be designed and printed in almost any colour. There are limitations (based on the normal digital printing processes), but we can be creative. We can match colour references (Pantone, RGB, some paint codes) to create a piece of art you can be proud of.
